These are trying times for our country, the invasion of the COVID19 virus. All of us are susceptible to this illness with seniors being more at risk than the rest.
It is at times like these that we need to draw strength from one another, care for each other and offer compassion to those that are most vulnerable. We will come out of this on the other side, with a greater sense of purpose and appreciation for the beauty around us. Let us all be vigilant around one another and watch out for the seniors in our community. Make sure we take all the precautions as mandated by the CDC guidelines. Practice social distancing,, wash our hands with soap and water, and avoid crowds. Many of our seniors may need help with food shopping or prescription pick up. We could all help in different ways. Check on them, call them, stay in touch.
We, at Share a Smile Chicago wish you and your loved ones good health and thank you for all your support.
Also encourage them to get the latest information about the virus from the Center for Disease Control at https://www.cdc.gov/
